Q. How often should a spa using the Nature II Spa Purifier system be drained and refilled?

A. The chemical saturation point of spa water is measured as Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Your monthly AnalyzePlusTM water analysis from Aqua Vita Spas indicates the level of TDS in your spa water. Total Dissolved Solids of 1500 ppm or higher, inhibit the ability of water maintenance chemicals to maintain clean, clear, spa water. Spa water that is maintained by Nature II Spa Purifier has a MAXIMUM service life of four months before requiring a Drain, Clean and Fill or Water Change. However, if the Total Dissolved Solids rise above 1500 ppm BEFORE the end of four months, a Drain, Clean and Fill or a Water Change will need to be performed. Refer to the SpaCareTM section of the EZCarePlus Manual for these procedures. After refilling, follow the Start-Up instructions found in this section.
